ROAD HOCKEY RULEZ! OJR introduce hockey to over 70 students at John Stallings Elementary

by Cesar Rivas

On Tuesday, Jan. 11th, the Ontario Jr. Reign hosted Road Hockey Rulez at John Stallings Elementary in Corona, CA.

Road Hockey Rulez is a school program, provided by the Jr. Reign players and coaches that introduces students to the fun and fundamentals of the beautiful sport of hockey.

Assistant captain and forward Christopher Lai  “Road Hockey Rulez is a great way to give back to our community, by giving these students a crash course on stick handling, passing and shooting.”

While hockey may not be a popular sport in Southern California, the program provides students an introduction to the game. Clearly, many of the students loved the experience, scoring big goals, along with big smiles on their faces, and collecting the OJR players autographs after the class.
